Preliminary Provisions and Definitions

Article 1

These General Terms define the rights and obligations related to the use of the StarHunt system owned by Gospić Advisory, a sole proprietorship for business consulting, owned by Branimir Gospić, Nova cesta 136, 10000 Zagreb, Croatia, OIB 38483327404 (hereinafter referred to as “StarHunt”).

StarHunt is an IT system that facilitates the exchange of information between the Employer who publishes a job advertisement and the Job Seeker who reviews job offers.

The Employer defines and, with the help of the StarHunt system, promotes the job advertisement, while the Job Seeker accesses the information and, if interested, can quickly and easily apply.

StarHunt – An information system intended for the exchange of data between the Employer, who seeks candidates, and the Job Seeker, who seeks employment.

Employer – A natural and/or legal person using StarHunt to find a Job Seeker.

Job Seeker – A natural person using StarHunt to find relevant job listings, apply, express interest, and ultimately secure employment with an Employer.

Personal Data – Any information relating to an identified natural person, protected under the provisions of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR – Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016) and the Croatian Data Protection Implementation Act.

Use – Communication of a job advertisement by the Employer and the sharing of personal data with the purpose of job seeking by the Job Seeker.

Data Controller – A natural or legal person who determines the purposes and means of personal data processing.

Data Processor – A natural or legal person who processes personal data on behalf of the Data Controller.

Use of the System by the Employer

Article 2

To use the system, StarHunt sends the Employer an invitation via email to register. The Employer defines their own access credentials, which are secure and known only to the registering party. The Employer agrees to keep credentials confidential and not share them with unauthorized individuals.

The Employer may publish job ads, search and view data submitted by Job Seekers, and use all features available in the StarHunt system.

The Employer is responsible for the content of job postings and bears all legal consequences (e.g., for any copyright or related rights violations or other intellectual property breaches) and grants permission to StarHunt to distribute the job posting in the market.

The Employer agrees not to disclose or allow third-party access to the personal or other data of Job Seekers.

The Employer uses StarHunt services based on the valid pricing list published at www.starhunt.io on the date of posting, or as otherwise defined in a commercial agreement between the Employer and StarHunt.

Use of the System by the Job Seeker

Article 3

The Job Seeker uses the StarHunt system free of charge to access job listings (including employer information, job title, job description, requirements, benefits, compensation packages, work location, etc.).

The Job Seeker is responsible for the accuracy of the data provided in applications and agrees to use StarHunt solely for the purpose of job search, application, and related activities.

System Operation and Liability

Article 4

StarHunt is not liable for any type of damage or for the accuracy of information that the Employer receives about the Job Seeker or vice versa through the system.

StarHunt is not liable for any damage due to temporary downtime, malfunction, or technical issues.

Personal Data Protection and Processing

Article 5

According to the GDPR, the Data Controller is the Employer listed in each job posting, while the Data Processor is StarHunt and additionally HighLevel Inc.

By taking action to apply to a job posting, the Job Seeker grants consent and confirms in a clear and unambiguous way that they are familiar with these General Terms and have been provided with all relevant information (purpose of data processing, identity of the Data Controller and Processor, data retention period, etc.).

The Data Controller collects the Job Seeker’s personal data on the basis of legitimate interest, which is appropriate and necessary for the intended purpose, and guarantees the Data Processor that such data will not be used for any purpose other than reviewing job applications, contacting candidates, and conducting the hiring process.

The Data Controller is responsible for organizational and technical measures to manage the data collected via the StarHunt system, including export outside the platform.

The Data Processor provides the Data Controller access to the data only to the extent necessary for service delivery and only to employees working on the StarHunt system or other authorized personnel under contractual obligation.

The Data Processor collects, processes, and stores personal data solely for the purposes of the service and the business relationship between StarHunt and the Employer, on behalf of the Data Controller.

The Data Processor is responsible for implementing organizational and technical measures as required by the GDPR and agrees to continuously improve them.

The Data Processor may use the data only for analysis, testing, and development of the StarHunt system.

The Data Controller agrees to cooperate with the Data Processor in the event of a Job Seeker exercising their rights under applicable law or in case of a data breach, including cooperation with regulatory authorities.

Both the Employer and Job Seeker grant StarHunt consent to collect and process personal data provided within their user accounts, job postings, applications, CVs, or any attached documents.

Consent for data collection and processing is granted solely for job application purposes and for activities related to job promotion, application processing, and recruitment.

Employers and Job Seekers can request information on data processing, file complaints, or withdraw their consent by sending a request to: findmystars@starhunt.io or in writing to: Gospić Advisory, Nova cesta 136, 10000 Zagreb, Croatia.

Jurisdiction

Article 6

All legal relations are subject to Croatian law. StarHunt, Employers, and Job Seekers will attempt to resolve any disputes amicably. In case of litigation, the court in Zagreb shall have exclusive jurisdiction.

Final Provisions

Article 7

These Terms of Use come into force as of the date of their publication on the StarHunt website. StarHunt may amend or supplement these General Terms at any time.

I give consent to Gospić Advisory to collect and process my personal data in accordance with the purposes stated in these General Terms.

I agree that my personal data may be retained until revoked, deleted, or withdrawn.

StarHunt reserves the right to change or discontinue (temporarily or permanently) any element of its service without prior approval or notice, while adhering to good business practices.

The Terms of Use, including any amendments, are effective from the date of their publication on www.starhunt.io and are binding for every individual and legal entity using the StarHunt website.
